It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school. I have been Principal at this wonderful school for the past 10 years.
We have approximately 711 students attending the school who proudly wear our school uniform and represent our school values within the school and when they are representing our school at sporting events, excursions and camps.
The school motto of TEAM encompasses all aspects of the words – Together everyone achieves more! Staff, parents and students working together to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Proud is a word that I often use when describing being the Principal of Pearcedale Primary School:
- I am proud of our students! Our students embrace every learning opportunity as a means to helping them grow academically, socially and emotionally.
- I am proud of our staff! Our staff are dedicated, passionate educators who have the “whole child” development as their primary goal. In teams they plan a wide range of activities to challenge their students in a supported manner.
- I am proud of our community! Our school enjoys being one of the most connected schools with the community. They embrace everything we undertake and support us to be a highly successful educational setting.
We have achieved so much as a school and have developed wonderful play areas for the students. The school has an artificial oval and ball areas and 3 basketball courts. There are 3 large playgrounds all with their own shade structures. Through our School Carnival we are able to add/enhance the school play areas every year.
Academically the children enjoy specialist subjects of Physical Education, Performing Arts, Auslan, Visual Arts and STEM. Our curriculum programs aim to support and challenge our students. All learning areas including the gymnasium have heating and cooling. Digitally all students have access to ipads and laptops within their classroom and we also have a digital technology room for whole class sessions.
I look forward to meeting with new parents and sharing our wonderful school… I look forward to continuing to work with our current families to ensure our children grow academically, emotionally and socially.
